PEOPLE OFTEN WONDER how I came to do the work I do - why I gave up a successful career
as a Commercial Interior Designer to become a
practitioner of Therapeutic Massage/Bodywork and the Energy Healing Arts.

I do this because it is a life-long passion that grew out of control. I do this because once I was spiritually and emotionally wounded, out of connection with myself, and physically unhealthy. I knew I was not functioning in 'wholeness' even though to my peers I was bright, capable, and effective in my work. Through my time and effort and the good wisdom of my intuitive spiritual teachers, I found a way out of my pain into wholeness. I became me! again and while feeling better and better I began to share my aura readings with friends, and they talked me into teaching a class, and then others began to show up wanting to experience my work!

I do this because my personal transformation has been profound, and it is natural to share what I have learned.

I do this because of the immense pleasure I feel when witnessing the positive growth and change in my clients.

I do this because it is sacred. By this I mean it is an experience of physical healing, emotional rapture, insightful clarity & connection with the divine light of spirit - a pathway to wholeness. It is valuable and it enriches lives.

MY WORK IS based upon the premise that we can live in separation or with actualized integration of spirit and body. It is not only the mind that holds the memory of our daily experiences, but also the cells of our bodies. The greater the pain, the greater the separation of spirit and body. (Some people may describe this separation as lack of self-knowledge or understanding. Or they may describe experiences of personal confusion, i.e. having thoughts and feelings that are contradictory. Or they simply realize they are 'Living Without Joy.') I believe this state of discomfort is beyond the mind and is symptomatically manifesting because it is imbedded in the cellular structure of the physical body. It separates us from our Higher Self and spiritual guidance.
I know through this work that we, as human beings, do not have to surrender to the darkness we feel from the inside out. We can learn to allow the light of spirit (chi) to move through us to prompt healing. We can learn to activate the light-body through choice. All it takes is desire and the willingness to spend time in true communication with self --- a process that is supported immensely through stillness, meditation, and bodywork.
ALL THE SERVICES OFFERED at Time Out Associates assist in this process. Some clients arrive wanting to address specific physical ailments; others arrive wanting to address emotional, mental, or spiritual imbalances. Some come simply to feel better, or for personal self-maintenance. No matter the reason, through this work each person experiences a shift toward greater health and wellness.
I've spent every year since young adulthood in this process. I'm not a neophyte claiming overnight mastery in this-or-that new energy healing system. I'm a (somewhat!) normal, sometimes overly stressed, woman who loves her work. My enthusiasm for life sometimes runs amuck and then demands that I slow down and practice what I teach. I am an empath that benefits from the daily meditation that alleviates and manages my body pain. My life and my health are better now than twenty-five years ago. I am devoted to the sacred process of the integration of spirit and body and willingly share my wisdom, knowledge and skills with clients who show up and sincerely request my assistance.
 My friends and clients often tell me I am a gifted
healer and clairvoyant, with a compassionate heart.
I like to think it's true because, yes, I do have the
inner vision and I've witnessed many miraculous
changes in my clients - but I also know that
personal healing comes from within. For that
reason I'm wiser to present myself as a teacher,
guide, and health practitioner offering assistance
to individuals seeking better health, wellness, and
vitality. I am an Intuitive Therapist, skilled in
communicating with the subtle energy field of the body,
trained in several energy-medicine modalities, and licensed
as a massage therapist. Most recently I completed certification in
Esogetic Colorpuncture, the latest of my holistic medicine adventures!
